Cyborgs are part machine and part biological. Androids are synthetic humans. Robots are pure machines. Cyborgs might be part human, or they might be contain some other organic components. They represent a fusion of machine and organism. Perhaps cyborgs are not fully formed entities. They might arise as an intermediate step between natural organisms and synthetic entities.
